Yes and it is big! But they can be made into 2 or three sections (£500 extra) if they need to be carries up stairs. The desk can also be made smaller by cutting a section out for those smaller offices or reception rooms. We can even make a stretched version for larger environments . (P.O.A)

The desk is 10ft long x 5ft wide x 3ft high. Door frames must be at least 30” wide for the desk to fit.

We cut out a section of the car so you are able to sit at the desk. We remove the engine and turn the engine bay and boot into ample storage for paper work, printer or box files. It is fully boxed in underneath the desk for further storage for a  computer tower. Holes are cut into the desk top for your computer or phone cables. The desk is finished to a showroom standard. All edges are smoothed.

Glynn the designer builds them entirely by hand on his own. He restores them, paints them and even makes the desk tops himself. They take about 2 weeks for a complete desk and around 3 and a half weeks to build one in sections. Remember, this is not just a desk.. This is a total restoration job!

What are the shipping and packing cost to Europe , USA and Canada?

Shipping Costs around £900 to most places slightly more for the USA (£1200) and the shipping crate Costs £350. However, in some cases we would be able to transport it to EU for a lot less.

What are the shipping times?

It takes about 1 week to ship to your door within the EU. 2-3 weeks elsewhere.

What are the terms of payment?

A deposit of 50% is required before any work can progress and full payment will be required prior to shipment.

Does it need any maintenance?

Just a good polish now and again.

Do we kill minis in order to make a desk?.

No! they are already dead. These cars are nearly always saved from the crusher or worst still, some ones idea of a restoration project! Most are so badly damaged that they would never go back on the road. We feel we are giving these mini’s a second chance to sit back, relax  and retire in style out of the wind and the rain. If we didn't turn them into beautiful desks they would almost certainly be turned into cubes!!
